It’s been a while since you last heard from me about Álula Magazine, but I couldn’t let the start of this year pass by without reaching out.
It’s so lovely to have you here. Maybe you signed up because we know each other (perhaps we met in person at an event or while traveling), or maybe you found our website or occasional posts. Perhaps you've been a contributor, pitched an idea or someone recommended our magazine to you. Whatever brought you here, I’m grateful for your support, thank you for sticking with me through the quiet moments. Your encouragement means the world to me.
I started Álula Magazine during a time when I dreamed endlessly of travel. I poured my heart into this project, and it’s been the most fulfilling creative outlet I could have imagined. The incredible people I’ve met through the magazine inspire me every day to keep going and building a space that celebrates creative, meaningful travel.
But, as you probably know, nothing ever goes exactly as planned. After the excitement of our first issue launch (such a win!) and the production of the second issue (another win!), we faced some challenges. And while the third issue is still in progress, pauses have been necessary, since the ever-moving nature of my current lifestyle has kept me on the go. But hey, such is the sparkly, bouncy life I’ve chosen, right? ✨
Therefore, I’ve been leaning more into the digital side of things, and I’m glad to share that we’ve been working behind the scenes to bring new life into our platform, now hosted on Ghost! This platform allows us to share our stories in a more seamless, beautiful way, and I can’t wait for you to explore it. You'll find some stories from our third issue are already live, and many more exciting projects are coming (trust me, I can’t wait to share them with you!).
